This Policy describes how we process and protect personal data of users of Snappy (the Service), available at snappy-ai.ru and in the Android app.

2. Definitions

Personal data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
Processing — any operation with personal data: collection, storage, use, transfer, deletion, etc.
User — a person using the Service.
Task content — text, images, audio and other materials you enter or upload to perform a task in the Service.

3. Data we process

3.1. Data you provide:

email address, name;
password (stored as a cryptographic hash, not in plain text);
task content: prompts, result text, uploaded and generated images, audio recordings.

3.2. Data collected automatically:

IP address, browser and device data, session identifiers;
technical logs (for security and troubleshooting).

3.3. Cookies and local storage: cookies and similar technologies for authentication, language, theme and your cookie consent. After you accept cookies on the site or register in the app, we use Yandex Metrica for anonymous usage analytics (page views and interactions). Web session recording (Webvisor) is not enabled. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We do not intentionally request special categories of personal data and do not target the Service at persons under 18.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to:

register and authenticate users and provide access to the Service;
fulfil your requests using artificial intelligence;
store task history and results in your account;
send service emails (email verification, password reset);
ensure security and prevent abuse;
handle user inquiries and personal data requests.

Legal bases include performance of the user agreement, user consent (including at registration and when accepting cookies), and other grounds under applicable Russian law.

5. AI and third parties

To operate the Service, task content is transferred to AI technology providers through intermediaries required to generate a response. Without such transfer, core functionality is unavailable.

Snappy does not use your data to train its own models. AI providers process requests to produce a response to you, not for Snappy’s own purposes.

Personal data and task content may be shared with:

hosting and cloud storage providers in the Russian Federation;
email delivery services;
AI technology providers and their intermediaries;
payment services — when paid features are available.

Transfer is limited to what is necessary for each purpose, with appropriate safeguards.

6. Storage location and cross-border transfer

Account data, task history and related materials are primarily stored on servers located in the Russian Federation.

AI request content may be processed by providers whose infrastructure is outside the Russian Federation. Such transfer is an essential part of the Service. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to this transfer for these purposes. The only way to refuse is to stop using the Service.

7. Retention

account data and task content — for as long as the account exists;
after a deletion request — for the time needed to delete data, not longer than required by law;
technical logs — up to 12 months unless a longer period is required by law;
backups — until the backup rotation cycle completes.

8. Security

We apply organizational and technical measures including encrypted transfer (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing, access controls and backups.

9. Your rights

You may:

obtain information about processing of your personal data;
request correction, blocking or deletion where data are incomplete, outdated or unlawfully processed;
withdraw consent to processing;
lodge a complaint with the Russian data protection authority (Roskomnadzor).

Send requests to privacy@snappy-ai.ru. We will respond within 30 days unless another period is required by law.

Withdrawal of consent or deletion of data may make further use of the Service impossible.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is published on this page with the date. Material changes take effect upon publication unless otherwise required by law. Continued use after publication means acceptance of the updated Policy.
